Choose the carry format first

Start with how the order is packed and transported. A lightweight counter bag, a stronger multi-container carrier and a thermal delivery bag solve different problems—even when they carry the same food.

Showing 8 takeout bag options

Why there is no fixed online price: finished width, height, gusset, film or fabric weight, thickness, print coverage, quantity per artwork and packing method materially change the cost.

Choose by performance

One order can need more than one bag

Counter carryout, high-weight family meals and last-mile delivery create different stress and temperature conditions. Tell us the actual use case before choosing only by appearance.

Fast counter

Plastic vest / T-shirt handle

Efficient opening and carrying for daily restaurant, grocery and pickup service. Film type, gauge and gusset are selected around the load.

Brand display

Die-cut handle

A broad front panel and integrated handle for cafés, bakeries, boutiques and lighter takeaway orders.

Repeat use

PP non-woven

A reusable direction with fabric weight, lamination, handle and artwork options confirmed for the project.

Delivery

Insulated carrier

A thermal construction for longer trips. Temperature performance depends on the complete bag, closure, load and travel conditions.

Specification checklist

What we confirm before quoting

A reference bag or a packed-order photo is useful. For load-bearing bags, share the container dimensions, total packed weight and how the customer carries the order.

Bag constructionVest or T-shirt handle, die-cut handle, soft-loop or reinforced-handle direction, non-woven tote, foil-lined or insulated delivery bag.
Finished dimensionsWidth × height × side or bottom gusset. Dimensions should allow container clearance, closing space and practical hand carry.
Material & gaugeHDPE or LDPE film, selected recycled-content or compostable directions, PP non-woven fabric and insulated constructions. Exact availability and documentation are project-specific.
PrintingLogo, text, colors, ink coverage and printable sides. The production route is confirmed from artwork complexity and order volume.
QuantityTotal quantity plus quantity per artwork or location. MOQ varies with bag type, size, material, print process and color count.
Destination & useCountry, restaurant or retail use, expected packed weight, direct or indirect food contact, delivery conditions and any documentation requested by the importer.
Commercial termsProduct quotes exclude freight, import duties and destination taxes unless specifically stated. Special testing, certifications and non-standard tooling are quoted separately.

*A takeout carrier is normally secondary packaging. If the bag will directly contact unpackaged food, state this clearly so material and compliance requirements can be reviewed separately.

Buyer questions

Custom takeout bag FAQ

What information is needed to quote custom takeout bags?

Send the bag style, finished width, height and gusset if known, material or preferred direction, thickness or target load, quantity per design, print colors, packed contents and destination country. A photo of the complete packed order is helpful.

What is the minimum order quantity?

There is no single MOQ for every takeout bag. The workable quantity depends on construction, size, film or fabric, print process, number of colors and quantity per artwork. We confirm it with the specification instead of advertising an unreliable universal minimum.

Can you make bags strong enough for multiple food containers?

Yes, but strength must be engineered around the actual packed weight, bag dimensions, handle, gauge, seals and carrying conditions. Share the expected maximum load and container arrangement so an appropriate direction can be reviewed and tested.

Can I print my restaurant logo on the bags?

Yes. Send vector artwork when available and tell us the required print colors, sides and ink coverage. We provide an artwork check and proof before production.

Do you offer recycled-content, compostable or reusable options?

Selected project-specific directions are available. Material documentation, labeling language, local collection or composting infrastructure, performance and destination requirements must be checked for the exact product. We do not recommend an unqualified environmental claim.

Are freight and import duties included?

No. Product estimates exclude freight, import duties and destination taxes unless the written quotation specifically includes them.
